David Brothers Car Service and Tommy's Car Service have air-conditioned minivans leaving on a regular schedule from midtown Manhattan.

They board at several locations in midtown Manhattan and will drop you off right at the Ferry Dock. Call for times and departure locations. Reservations recommended.

The ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan.

From the Train Station to the Ferry Dock:

Both car services will be waiting at the Bay Shore train station and will take you to all ferry docks in about 5 minutes.

Vans will be waiting at the docks when you return to Bay Shore to take you back to the city and the train station. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak times.

To And From Sayville

The Islanders Travel Club operates on the weekends with comfortable coach busses leaving Manhattan on a regular schedule.

Departures are Friday morning, afternoon and evening; and Saturday morning. Return trips are made Sunday and Monday. Fare is $20 each way.

Busses make several stops along designated routes. Call for reservations and information.

Colonial Taxis will be waiting at the train station to bring you to the Ferry Dock in Sayville, and be waiting at the dock for the return trip. Fare is $3
